Panthers Section
There will be no Panthers on the 5th or 26th May.
The panthers group caters for children from the age of 5 to 8 years where they are introduced to the basic use of multi-skills incorporated into athletics.
The group meets at the Mayflower Centre indoor sports hall between 4.30pm and 6pm every Monday during the school term.
During the summer term, if the weather is fine, we will take the children outside from the Mayflower Centre for some of the session.
Sessions cost £3 and may be paid weekly or £12 per half term. Cheques should be made payable to City of Plymouth Athletic Club.
There will be a small competition for the Panthers group at the Brickfields track prior to the open meetings which run on the second Tuesday of each month. These will be May 13th, June 10th and July 8th. We will begin at 6.15pm and run until 7pm when the main competition begins. They will be free to fully paid up Panthers members. We will run a couple of short races, a standing jump and a throw at these events.
We are also hoping to include the Panthers group at the 'young athletes meeting' on 5th July during the lunch break and we will also run a session on the morning of Saturday 12th July. Times to follow.
